As I am in my final days as your Executive Council President, I have to say if you weren't at the Delta Centennial, you missed one phenomenal purple studded weekend! I will soon leave you in the capable hands of incoming President, Deborah Miller '97. In the meantime, however, those of you not at the Centennial will soon be receiving a letter regarding a chance to support the special Delta Centennial Park project. I hope you will serious consider supporting this effort to whatever degree you are financially able as how cool would it be for the Deltas to be named for the park that everyone sees as they exit the freeway to come to campus!
The first 50 donors of $1,000 or more over up to a three-year period will also receive a special piece of Delta history – an engraved piece of the traditional Delta sterling flatware. We need to collectively raise $150,000 to have this project named in our honor.
